A cargo ship is sinking after it collided with another cargo vessel coming from the opposite direction in Hooghly River in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district on Tuesday. The collision between the ships occurred at the confluence of the Hooghly and Rupnarayan rivers near Nurpur. So far, there are no reports of any casualties. The police have rushed to the spot.
